With a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, I've spent 17 years in academia, specializing in the field of medicinal chemistry. My expertise covers chemical investigations of medicinal plants, anti-epileptic agents, and gene therapy for breast cancer. I hold administrative roles and have served on various committees, fostering academic development and community service.
Teaching Interests:
My passion lies in teaching a spectrum of courses, including Medicinal Chemistry I & II, General Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry. These courses enable me to share my knowledge, shaping future pharmaceutical scientists. I've also supervised over 30 academic students in Saudi Arabia, contributing to their educational journey.
Dr. Shamshir Khan have a strong interest in teaching a wide range of courses in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, with a primary focus on Medicinal Chemistry. This includes offering courses such as Medicinal Chemistry-I (PHC 222), Medicinal Chemistry-II (PHC 313), and both old and new plans for Medicinal Chemistry-III (PHC 426/PHC 351/PHC 302) and Medicinal Chemistry-IV (PHC 428/PHC 450/PHC 401).
